Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the STAT Outdoors mobile application and web platform (the "Service") operated by STAT Outdoors Limited Company ("STAT Outdoors," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use STAT Outdoors. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as needed.

You must notify us immediately at info@statoutdoors.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Basic Membership

The Basic membership is free and includes trip logging across all sport categories, basic spot tracking, trophy management, dashboard analytics, and an ad-free experience.

PRO Subscription

The PRO subscription costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year and unlocks additional features including weather patterns, trail camera management, unlimited spots and trophies, advanced analytics, and priority support.

Billing

PRO subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) on iOS or Stripe on Android and web. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your PRO subscription at any time through your app store account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you retain access to PRO features through the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of the PRO subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. User Content

"User Content" means any data, text, photos, or other material you submit to the Service, including trip logs, notes, trail camera images, and Spot information.

• Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your trip logs, photos, or other data.
• License: By submitting User Content, you grant STAT Outdoors a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes generating analytics, weather patterns, and insights from your data.
• Shared Spots: When you share a Spot with other users, your trip logs and analytics associated with that Spot become visible to those users. You are responsible for choosing what to share.
• Prohibited Content: You may not submit content that is illegal, violates the rights of others, contains malware, or is intended to abuse or disrupt the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable hunting, fishing, or wildlife regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent feature limits or abuse free tier restrictions
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from other users' accounts without authorization
• Share your PRO subscription credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, graphics, and branding, is owned by STAT Outdoors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The STAT Outdoors name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of STAT Outdoors Limited Company.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

8. AI and Machine Learning Features

STAT Outdoors uses machine learning models (including STAT Vision, Deer Vision, Rut Vision, and Fishing Vision) to generate predictions and insights based on your trip data and weather conditions. These features are provided for informational purposes only.

Predictions are based on historical patterns and weather data and are not guaranteed to be accurate. STAT Outdoors is not responsible for decisions you make based on predictions or analytics provided by the Service. Always exercise your own judgment and follow all applicable hunting and fishing regulations.

9. Field Staff Program

The STAT Field Staff program is an invitation-based program offering free PRO access in exchange for product feedback. Acceptance is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time. Field Staff members do not represent STAT Outdoors and are not employees or contractors.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including weather data providers, app stores, payment processors, and analytics tools. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data (including weather data and predictions) will be accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STAT Outdoors and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STAT Outdoors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@statoutdoors.com. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
